What Are The Advantages Of ClearCorrect?
Boise, ID

Patient holding ClearCorrect clear aligner trays for straightening teeth at Water's Edge Dental in Boise, IDEver since 2006, thousands of people have had their teeth straightened successfully with ClearCorrect transparent aligners. They work just like any other orthodontic appliance by applying pressure that gradually moves the teeth and reshapes the supporting bone.

ClearCorrect is Simple

This process is very simple. The doctor will first capture the shape of the patient’s teeth by taking impressions or scans. He will then prescribe how to straighten the teeth and will submit the case to ClearCorrect’s main office in Round Rock, TX. ClearCorrect then creates a series of virtual models of the teeth based on the dentist’s instructions. The models cover the progression of the treatment from crooked to straight. They are printed on a 3D printer and are used to make clear plastic trays called aligners.

You snap the aligners onto your teeth and wear them about 22 hours a day, removing them only to eat, drink and brush your teeth. The aligners apply light pressure to selected teeth to push them closer to the desired position. ClearCorrect has numerous advantages over traditional braces.

ClearCorrect is Invisible

For those who deal with people, a brilliant smile is a must. When you can’t put on your best face, your self-confidence and quality of life are diminished. ClearCorrect aligners are transparent, so people usually won’t even know you’re wearing them unless you tell them. Not only that, but our patients have received compliments on their smiles while in treatment!

With ClearCorrect, you’ll completely avoid the teasing, embarrassment and reduced self-confidence that often accompany braces. ClearCorrect patients report boosts in their confidence after people compliment them on their teeth. ClearCorrect also covers the spaces in your teeth, eliminating the need for veneers or bonding to deal with visible gaps.

ClearCorrect is Comfortable

ClearCorrect is considerably more comfortable than braces. The assessments take about 20 minutes, and you’ll receive new aligners every two weeks. They may feel tight at first, but within a few days, they should feel fine. You can even feel which individual tooth is shifting as the aligners do their work. The tension eases as the tooth fits into place.

With ClearCorrect, you are in control. Just pop out your aligners, eat whatever you want, and pop them back on. It’s that easy! Unlike braces, you won’t have to worry about inflamed gums, food buildup, or brackets and wires cutting soft tissue. Patients who have had bad experiences in the past with braces praise ClearCorrect because it doesn’t cause the same problems that are typically associated with braces.
