Geoffrey Herzog, DMD
Dr. Geoffrey Herzog is a native of Idaho. Born in Pocatello, he attended Century High School where he excelled in both the classroom and in athletics. He received a Bachelors' of Science Degree in Biology from the University of Idaho in 2007. He then went on to earn his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree at the University of Pittsburgh in 2011. He followed up his education by earning a Certificate of Advanced Education in General Dentistry in 2012 at the Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas, TX. Dr. Herzog received distinguished awards during his college career including the 2011 Baylor College of Dentistry Resident Scholarship Award for Outstanding Performance as well as the 2011 Lux Scholarship Award for Outstanding Leadership and Excellence.
To further enhance his dental education, Dr. Herzog has completed hundreds of hours of continuing education in the specialty areas of implant dentistry, endodontics, sports dentistry and orthodontics. He is currently a provider for Clear Correct Orthodontics and has received a certificate from the American Orthodontic Society for Straight Wire Orthodontics. He is a member of the Idaho State Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, the Academy of Sports Dentistry, and the American Orthodontic Society. He currently serves as the President Elect for the Southwest Idaho Dental Society. In 2017, Dr. Herzog received the distinguished Fellowship Award from the Academy of General Dentistry, at a national convention in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Dr. Herzog loves to be involved in the community and volunteer his time and abilities. He supports several local societies, organizations and youth sports teams. Every few years he guides a team on a dental mission trip, where he provides dental work for people in foreign countries who do not have access to care. His most recent trip was to a very small village in Belize.
Dr. Herzog is committed to providing gentle, quality care to his patients while integrating the latest technology and procedures. After practicing in Austin, Texas for three years, he is excited to be back in Idaho. In his spare time Dr. Herzog is an avid fly fisherman, golfer, skier and sports fan. He loves being involved with his local community and looks forward to building new relationships with the great people of the Treasure Valley.
