What Are Dental Implants and Who Can Benefit Most From Them

Dental implants are one of the best ways to replace missing teeth and restore your smile. They offer many benefits that you simply can't get with dentures or bridges, and they're a great option for people at any stage of life. Whether you're looking for a quick fix, want something long-lasting, or need to find an alternative solution, dental implants could be right for you!
What Are Dental Implants and Who Can Benefit Most From Them?
Dental implants are composed of a titanium post surgically implanted into the jawbone and then secured by special screws. We can use them to replace one or multiple teeth, depending on your needs. Dental implants provide an attractive alternative for people who have lost their natural smiles due to missing or damaged teeth.
So how exactly do dental implants work?
Once you've been fitted with a dental implant, we will secure it in place within your jaw bone using surgery and/or other medical appliances such as posts and abutments (devices attached below the gum line). The procedure takes about two visits: first to prepare the site where they'll implant the device and second to install it after it has healed completely. After the implant is in place, you'll need to wait about three months for it to heal fully. After that, we will attach a crown (or cap) over the post until the new tooth is ready.
Why Are They The Superior Choice?
Dental implants provide a permanent solution to both missing and damaged teeth. They are strong, stable, durable, and engineered for natural function. Unlike dentures or other tooth replacements that may be uncomfortable or require special care, dental implants can last you your whole life if treated properly. Plus, they make it possible to eat the foods you love again without worrying about them getting stuck in between gaps of loose false teeth!
Dental implants are a safe and effective treatment option for those missing teeth. Whether you need one tooth replaced or want to replace an entire row of lost teeth, dental implant surgery is a viable solution that can restore your smile to its full glory.
