Strange Toothpaste Flavors You May Want to Consider

Strange Toothpaste Flavors You May Want to ConsiderMost of the toothpaste that comes through our offices is some derivative mint. It is common for us to use peppermint, or spearmint, or just plain mint. For a long time, mint was the only flavor available and generally, people enjoyed it.

If you have shopped the toothpaste aisle recently, you may be surprised to find that there are many other toothpaste flavors to choose from. The flavors span the whole gamut, from spicy to fruity and everything in between.

A New Look Down the Toothpaste Aisle

Let's take a look at some of the strangest toothpaste flavors (in our humble opinion).

Bacon flavored toothpaste has hit the market. This is an interesting concept, as most people brush their teeth after breakfast. Would you like to have breakfast last a little longer? Perhaps if you eat bacon for breakfast and then brush your teeth with bacon toothpaste, you could enjoy your breakfast right up until lunch!
Are you more of a dessert person? The same company also makes cupcake flavored toothpaste (and pickle flavored toothpaste too). Some stores also carry Oreo flavored toothpaste as well as chocolate flavored toothpaste. Research has shown that cocoa powder extract helps harden teeth enamel. If this is the case, the chocolate flavored toothpaste user may be less susceptible to tooth decay long term. Enjoy dessert on a new level!

If you're really ready for a change you may want to try toothpaste with black baked eggplant as an ingredient. The product information touts that eggplant was believed especially good for cavity and gum disease. Other interesting foods find their way to toothpaste as well. Have you tried wasabi toothpaste?

Lastly, if you haven't found your match, you might consider genuine Scotch whiskey flavored toothpaste.

Regardless of the toothpaste you prefer, it is important to come visit us twice a year. We look forward to helping you keep your teeth clean.
